Unhappy STARTING QUESTION ?

Went to start my Vstar this morning & no power.
I was in a rush to get to work , so I will check it out this evening.
Bike is a 2007 model 1300 with orginal battery.
I will start will a battery check, then maybe use my portable charger to jump it.
I think I might have left my led lights on over the weekend since Friday.
When I thrun the key unto the on position ,there is no power , no digital display on the gauges, no headlights or leds or horn.
Bike has been cranking gooe ,but the battery is now about 4 years old ,so I'm guessing the winter cold & time has taken it toll .
Is there anythnig else to check that maybe can be casuing the starting problem ?
Thanks in advance for your input.

I would just charge it and see what happens. Sounds like you already nailed down the issue.

99% sure it's just the battery.
IMHO it would be a mistake to try to continue to use the battery. Even if you can get it to charge enough to start the bike (not likely) it could very likely leave you stranded in the near future.
My advice would be replace it ASAP.

Point taken , my main concern is getting it to the shop on my payday to get a new battery.
Right after the last freeze we had , I had 3 buddies that their bike battries died & my truck battery died 2 days after the freeze.
Guess this winter took it's toll on a lot of battres.
My bike is a 2007 model & orginal battery .
Guess it is time for it to go.
I am taking it to the shop to get it checked out for the spring riding season .
I rode quite a bit when I could this past winter too.
Thanks for the good advice.

last battery i bought from wally world was about $75, which included a $9 core charge.

FWIW i've had better luck with those than with yuasa's.
