Out-of-State Vehicle Titling

So I'm wondering how you title a motorcycle if you are living out of state. In my particular case I need to know about what the laws are for titling a motorcycle if you are living in Texas, but as a full time student and therefore have my license and all that stuff for a different state.

I've scoured the both state's DMV sites and there is nothing about this situation. Does anyone have any experience with this? Do you register and title the vehicle in Texas or your home state?

Not sure on rules for students, I know military can title and keep registration in their home state. As long as you have a local address, and insurance in your name on the bike, should be able to title it here regardless of your ID.
