exhaust

dumb question, but are slip-ons made specifically for certain bikes? like if someone is selling a slip on off a newer yamaha bike, could i put it on my 94 cbr? are the exhaust sizes different? if size is only difference then that would be great (work at a manufacturing shop and can make couplings!) any help would be great...thanks!

Yes, they are bike spcific.
Things like mid pipe angle, length and size are the primary differences. On some bikes the mounting may be different too if it doesn't use a cannister clamp.
That's not saying you can't make it fit, but most of the ones I've seen like that look rigged.
