GSXR 750 Rebuild

So here is an update on the progress so far. I got the 750 motor all out and put the 1k motor in last night. Gonna change the ignition and rin the wire harness today or tonight then put the radiator and sidewinded on. All I need now is a job so I can get the clutch mod and a new chain. Add some oil and coolant and I should be up and running. Swap was a lot easier then I thought it was going to be.

i got a rear shock off of an 07 that will work great on your bike, it will get you lower and has a much stiffer spring, shocks about 1/2-3/4 inches shorter which will get you much lower, i just put a revalved shock on my bike so if your interested ill sell it to you cheap

Might be...i was gonna spend some money on a good shock but this layoff changed all of my plans. Looks like it will be stock motor budget build at least till next winter.

I can have it runnin by this weekend but i still need a chain to put the new sprockets on. I would like to get the cluth mod so it dosnt buck its off out the hole but i plan on gettin a slider when i build the motor so i might just pull the clutch apart and get it welded together for now and save that money

I did the ole ZX-10 steel mod on mine and it worked great. I replaced the first steel with a ZX-10 steel and it stopped all the grabbing. Only cost about $10 too. I didn't know yours was bucking?
