i'm hoping Saturday provides me with enough time to get the 250 going...if not, should definetly buy enough to get the 426 prepped and rolling...I need to adjust the rekluse in it and then the normal prep stuff...

no real reason for me to miss it.

and I probably won't.

what time is practice Sat?

practice starts as early as 1:30 I think and with daylight savings here we'll be able to ride well into the evening...7ish I would assume before the woods go dark.

race was an excellent time. I really enjoyed the course...I had some technical issues both days, but even then....it was well worth the entry fees and drive.

even more priceless is the big ball of flame that I was riding for a second or two. I'm wondering if anyone else saw it...wish I had the gopro rolling.

Awesome weather, great (18 mile long) course, and perfect dirt!

If ya missed this one, shame on you.

Awesome mix of flowing trails (I swear I nearly dragged bars & pegs on the 3-4 miles of sweet flowing berms), some tight stuff, and sweet MX thrown in to top it off with an EZ/Hard log formation.

I think this was the first time I've tried clearing some somewhat big doubles on a mx track. Not gonna lie, first time flying through the air made me pucker up.

I had a great race competing with the top 3 in the class, but some new guy from San Angelo swooped in and swiped first place, had me beat by 40 seconds, with my bud Eric following 30 seconds behind me....keep in mind we raced 36 miles in 1 hr. and 42 minutes roughly. It was a relatively close race with me and Eric switching positions a couple of times throughout the race.

Congrats to Lostner for his 1st place finish in Over 40D and Hotnanas for coming out and sorting out all his bike problems

Next one is at Brazos Valley (300 ft of elevation) in Bryan on April 16 & 17. If you're interested in racing the 4 wheeler class with Texas Xtreme, that event is the weekend prior (April 9 & 10).

Thanks again for a great course Otis! See ya guys at the next one!

See you at the next one V?

I dont know if I will be there or not depending on my oil drain/case problem. After riding that 250f, I don't ever want to climb back on to the 426.

Yes, Otis puts together a great race!

thanks for posting the pics! I'll spare the crowd from posting more podium pics, but here's a cool action shot I assume from the 3 lap MX race on Saturday before practice....best $5 I spent all weekend. it was some work! Thanks for the special event.
