can someone meet me and help:..please

Ok so I rode down to rosenberg for a ride this weekend and now I'm issues. When I stop using the rear break I hear a grinding noise, then when I take off... even slowly it grinds for a bit I can feel it in my pegs. I'm a new rider maybe I'm imagining something , could someone that's in the area tomorrow and ride it for like a mile and see if its something I should take it in for its an ARM and a leg just to get it diagnosed and I'f its nothing then its a waste of money , and thanks in advance

first thing i would check is the rear brake pad...if the actual pad part of the brake pad is worn then the metal base of the pad could be grinding on your rotor. that would be a pretty bad thing. the metal would wear out your rotor very fast and might even need replacing if its gone on for too long. rear pads run $30-40 and most shops would charge a half hour to put them on.
