Riding my friends ZX10 and was on fumes. Left his house on a full tank. Gas light comes on at 140 miles. We rode 15 miles and I was like "oh gonna run out of fuel" got to the gas station. The tank holds 4.8 gallons. The gas pump was reading 4.6 when I filled up. Not sure how accurate that is but I guess it could be close.

Depends on the bike. My ZX10 flashes with .9 gallons left. At an average of 30 miles per gallon, that gives me 27 miles to go (and I KNOW that's pretty accurate - don't ask).

i haven't experience how hard is for me to push my bike, and i'm sure i never will...
every time i see the light comes on then i put gas right away! then i'll reset the "A" trip meter so i know when to fill up next.

i go about 120 before filling up and before the light comes on...

4.7 gallon....light at 3.7.....fill up at 150 miles or so hasn't ever been over 4 gallons from that point.....good mileage for a 1000cc I guess.

Same here at 124 miles I start looking for a station even if the light isn't on cuz I know it will be showing itself real soon.

You must be riding with a really heavy wrist cuz I have never gotten that of gas mileage on my r6. I always get between 170-180 before the light comes on. And 200 plus if I'm really relaxing.

Depends on the bike but most are 25-30+ miles....however, that is going the speed limit. Ya when you are going 150+ that tends to reduce the tank range...
