So a motocop crashed trying to catch up with a biker. Maybe he needs 4 wheels instead of two.

what an ? he has a 2009 bike but can't put liability on it. It's probably like 200 bucks a year. So he runs then he rats himself out. That's like a triple fail.

Kid did the right thing. Imagine if they WOULD have eventually found him.
Now he's only getting a fine and a slap on the wrist probably.

That cop just proved that accidents can happen to anyone.
Those dudes are usually highly trained.

I have been lucky in Pasadena. Not one ticket. It helps to have a hook up too.

Pasadena PD officers were unable to see the suspect’s license plate number, but continued to search the motorcyclist in the area.

Approximately 20 minutes after the accident, an anonymous male called in to the Pasadena Police Department dispatch and claimed that his license plate had been stolen off his 2009 Black Yamaha motorcycle within the last 30 minutes and that the theft may have occurred at Beltway 8 and Fairmont Parkway.
He had no way of knowing they DIDNT see his plates- he was trying to cover his . Apparently he can ride his way out of a sticky situation but cant talk his way out of . Actually that's not fair, police are trained interrogators. They'll ask you stupid questions for hours until you slip up if they think somethings fishy.

As for the light sentence... They can't really use anything in court if you weren't marandized and since they actually had to put through the report on the stolen plates (dispatchers wouldnt grill somebody to see if they're lying) combined with the anonymity that we enjoy wearing a helmet- if he was caught on any cameras they can't prove it's him. They definitely cut him a good deal, and I'll bet THAT's why he owned up.

For sure. always hate to see a rider down even if he was an on-duty popo. jk.

But yeah, for all ya'll who like to run from the cops- if one comes after you on a bike and crashes, you should totally stop to make sure he's ok before continuing with the chase.
