How do yall feel about motards

Referring to dirtbikes converted to street legal bikes? I'm considering getting one for a first bike for three main reasons. One, because i am extremely comfortable on a dirtbike. Two, i'm very familiar on working on them and what to buy. Three, cost. How would you guys feel riding next to a guy on one, lol

Yea when i would change the oil in my bikes, i'd take them up and down the street to make sure the levels were correct. My bike was WAY faster on cement, really hooked up I'm really thinking about buying my dad's bike from him (02 YZ426) and motarding it. The main problems i would have are a stator for the eletrics, wiring harnesses, and possible gearing. Might just get a bike from someone off of a SM site like supermotardjunkie.com

Bike(s):
lots of em

I have always wanted one, so I bought the dr350, awesome bike and capabilities, but after wanting one for so long and then buying one, I found that it sat while the other bikes got picked to ride over it. buuuuuuuuuut, after seeing those pictures of msr racing and the motard burning the corners up, makes ya wanna go and get a 650 + cc motard.

yeah i wanted one too but i think the only way i would get one is if i could afford to have both a ss and a motard. id like to ride it around my area by myself but its not like i could take it on group rides
