How do yall feel about motards

Referring to dirtbikes converted to street legal bikes? I'm considering getting one for a first bike for three main reasons. One, because i am extremely comfortable on a dirtbike. Two, i'm very familiar on working on them and what to buy. Three, cost. How would you guys feel riding next to a guy on one, lol

Yea when i would change the oil in my bikes, i'd take them up and down the street to make sure the levels were correct. My bike was WAY faster on cement, really hooked up I'm really thinking about buying my dad's bike from him (02 YZ426) and motarding it. The main problems i would have are a stator for the eletrics, wiring harnesses, and possible gearing. Might just get a bike from someone off of a SM site like

got to get a motard. nice.
"I get a total charge out of inspiring others to follow their dreams and not to fear change. Embrace it. Realize that money isn't the end-all, be-all. What is important, what really has value, is Time. As motorcyclists, we all face increased risks on the road, and on the track. Do something with your time; don't have a bag full of regrets when the train comes to a stop. "

lots of em

I have always wanted one, so I bought the dr350, awesome bike and capabilities, but after wanting one for so long and then buying one, I found that it sat while the other bikes got picked to ride over it. buuuuuuuuuut, after seeing those pictures of msr racing and the motard burning the corners up, makes ya wanna go and get a 650 + cc motard.

yeah i wanted one too but i think the only way i would get one is if i could afford to have both a ss and a motard. id like to ride it around my area by myself but its not like i could take it on group rides
