New carbs. What gas?

Just spent a pretty penny on redoing my carbs completely redone. I put premium in the bike the other day and I just feel better about doing that. I mean new carbs deserve the best gas right?

Does it matter?

higher the grade the cleaner the gas I always thought...

Or is it just higher octane the higher the combustion rate or what have you?

OR

Am I just blowing money?

Higher grade does not mean cleaner. just shop at a gas station that gets a lot of traffic because old gas separates in tanks. And shop at quality stations like chevron, also. Never shop at a gas station that just received gas because the delivery kicks up a lot of trash and varnish. also if your bike doesn't have the compression to burn premium its a waste, also generates less power and chews through exhaust packing faster because the unburned fuel ignites more in your exhaust

This, end thread. You dont need a fuel stabilizer if the bike doesnt sit for weeks at a time without running.

Lokati why do I bother making posts when we hang out at least once a week? I'm just going to ask you all my questions.

Then just be smart where you shop for gas. chevron is the best place imo, at least they have corporate policies about cleaning the inside of their tanks. Cheap gas stations sometimes never clean out their tanks, the entire life of the store

read an article years ago about it and I don't recall the specifics about their policy. Nor am I saying they are the only company that does it, just the only company I am aware has adopted policy requiring it. google will resolve a lot if your questions between treatments/ filtering/ cleaning and the differences.
