Just Putting this out there...

After NewRiders post about PP1, I visited the Baker st Pub at 249 & 1960 by the Willobrook Mall. I Spoke to the manager, he told me they would be glad to have the Bikes out. He also said if we let him know in advance they would block off parking for us.They also have live Bands, and a very large patio for the smokers. One last thing Wednesday they have "Big Beer specials.

I have his contact info if we are interested.

Been there before.. some of the staff are racist. Not to start anything, but i would definitely not come back. It is a nice location though, just wish the staff were more professional.

Sounds like a great idea but people go to pp1 because of its central location and closeness to 610 ramp

I understand, it's not a "central" location, but the parking is HUGE, and there are a lot of way to route a ride from there. B8 to 45 or 290, or the not so secret "stunt spots". Like I said just putting it out there.

Lame, was it one person or a group decision that "they we're full"?

I have been there and they have a decent size patio, overlooking the beautiful parking lot. Nice happy hour prices, if they block off for bike parking it would be a great hang out....Other than first thing in the morning, why is Starbucks a prime location?

Our group dont mix drinks and riding, just not a good combination anyway you look at it. Girls? most of us are married so chasing women is out of the question

Maybe for a younger group of riders those would be their main interest but for us older riders, we dont want to play pool or get drunk, we just want to ride and talk about bikes

Hey again I understand, maybe it's not a weekly meet spot, maybe once a month. And there is still LIVE music
