They are indeed very nice and we'll have some in stock in the next week or so.

Please let us know if there are any significant changes in this thread. Hopefully they aren't as squeaky as the old boots...I WD40 mine every few months lol

Didn't see an MSRP on there. Any idea on pricing as of yet?

I have both the older version SMX and the new Tech Ride Smart, the SMX was not as comfortable as the Sidis and they do squeak with every step you take, the new Tech Ride Smart are very comfortable right out of the box, maybe even more than the Sidis!

I wonder why the red boots aren't perforated like the others. I wonder of they more comfortable than the old ones.

They do look a lot better than the original ones but how do they compare in comfort with the Sidi's?

Some of the SMX line are waterproof and some are vented, both in the new version and the old version.

There's an external ankle brace which I have found to be the major source of squeaking. I apply WD40 on it from time to time and most of the squeaking goes away. The rest of the creaking is probably from other bracing.

^ - good question.

I was leaning towards the Sidi's, but wonder how these new ones compare, in comfort & protection.

I love my SuperTech Ride Smart more than the SMX+s

190657 1567088339874 1315391214 1216607 1974967 n

190728 1567090539929 1315391214 1216608 3599992 n

All the reviews I read said the SuperTech Ride Smart are uncomfortable to walk in but I find them very comfortable - more so than the SMX+. They feel like sneakers where as my SMX+ felt like galoshes (sp).

I'm guessing the new SMX+ will still feel like galoshes since the protection/bracing is on the outside.

People's personal ratio of comfort/protection are different.
The SMX is not as forgiving, but has more ankle stabilitiy.

More simply, I agree. But with reason.
