Food/drink places work best, because if you buy something you're not "loitering".

I don't plan on buying furniture on the bike...

50 bikers that don't buy anything, rev their loud pipes all night, loiter around and scare off the actual paying customers.
I wouldn't say its not biker friendly, I'd say it's not business friendly. You really can't expect the management to be all that welcoming just because "we" like it. Think of all the douchebags you see in the hour you're there.

Now multiply that times 6 hours per day, several times a week.

I don't go often but when I do I like hanging out with other riders.
What would be awesome would be a bike shop with food and drink, moto parking and large seating/chilling area.
Find one of those and you're golden.

I'm all for a new place, last night two security guards came up to us and stood there next to our bikes. I was standing next to him and he was typing stuff in his blackberry as he looked at our bikes, like making a record of our bike description and what time we got there. And then when we left, he was saying "you dont got ta leave, you got 12 more minutes left".

I know, its a cool story....

No I mean the best place to do it would be at a place (doesn't exist yet) that has all those qualities.

Well, I'm trying to figure out what Restaurant is around Cycle gear... Besides, subway...

Actually, Freebirds tends to be very bike friendly too...I just don't think they are open late...but there is a Gas station and Target around there...

Hmmm....We need a Twin Peeks in town, like at the Marquee or something...

The perfect place will never exist just because it would not be sustainable at all.... Drinks are fairly priced at starbucks but even so, how many people really buys a drink or two when hanging out at pp1? On top of that they gotta deal with all the squids that think reving the out of their bikes is considered a cool stunt or make them look faster. I am sure that if they start enforcing $8 per head for minimun consumption pp1 would be empty on wed. nights.

It would only have to be $1.50 min for it to be cleared out...
