That reminded me when I heard it today. We had a diver at our company a couple of weeks ago get killed by a stingray. What happened was he was at a water stop after coming off a gas dive and a 10 foot stingray got entangled in his dive hose. Well the stingray freaked and bolted for the surface bringing the diver up with him. Anybody who know's about diving know's that, that is serious embolization(nitrogen coming out of solution in your blood via the form of little bubbles). Well, when he hit surface in about 90 seconds he was all blown up while his skin was still intact. They tried to re-compress him in a decompression chamber but 30 min. later the lost him. It was a freak accident and NEVER EVER EVER really happens. Nonetheless though, it does.

If you're stupid enough to dangle your baby around while feeding a live full-grown crocodile... well all I can say is... punishes morons. I'm probably more annoyed by people who are acting sad over this when they used to always make mean comments about him. It's kinda like high school when some random kid died and people who didn't even know the person would cry and act like they were best friends with that person.

don't get me worng he looks like a nice guy, BUT man... he endanged his own kid. i know most of you guys remember that. and everyone was talking all kinds of mess saying how messed up it was.

This pic is so wrong but I had to post it anyway:

when i saw that clip with his baby i didnt think he was endangering it. he wasnt trying to feed the baby to the croc. what about when michael jackson was dangling his baby off the balcony? i bet you still get up and dance when you hear "thriller" comes on.

your rational is like saying a guy that dies doing a wheelie deserved to die cuz he was a moron.

i mean dont' get me wrong. it's sad that he passed away such a sucky death. but it's like everyones making a big deal about it... when i do remember a lot of people talking when it happened.

i don't know i guess it's cause i never was such a big fan on his. RIP none the less to a guy who seemed nice. but i don't know that's how he was raised.. that doesn't mean to raise his kids like that.. WHAT WOULD have happened if something happened to his kid.. you know.. it's just like don't do something that's going to put not only yours but your love ones life in danger.. esp if they don't have chance to say if they want to or not.

and no i don't dance to michael jackson. not my thing.

I think the fact that he pulled out the barb is what killed him. See story below....
Cairns (Australia), Sept 5. (AP): Dramatic videotape of 'Crocodile Hunter' Steve Irwin's last moments shows him pulling from his chest the poisonous stingray barb that killed him, officials said today, as tributes poured in for the beloved naturalist famed for getting dangerously close to deadly beasts.

Police said there were no suspicious circumstances in the death of Irwin, who was stabbed in the chest yesterday while snorkeling with a stingray while filming a television programme on Australia's Great Barrier Reef, and no evidence he provoked the animal.

John Stainton, Irwin's manager who was among the television crew on the reef, said the fatal blow that struck the presenter and conservationist was caught on videotape, and described viewing the footage as having the "terrible" experience of watching a friend die.

"It shows that Steve came over the top of the ray and the tail came up, and spiked him here (in the chest), and he pulled it out and the next minute he's gone," Stainton told reporters in Cairns, where Irwin's body was taken for an autopsy.

The tape of the death of the man known by TV audiences worldwide for his infectious enthusiasm in the series "The Crocodile Hunter" was secured by Queensland state police as evidence for a coroner's inquiry, a standard procedure in high-profile deaths or those caused by other than natural causes

how do you know if you'll like the comment without reading it first? saying he deserved to die for the kid incident is pretty harsh... Everyone does stupid .
