ZX10R Coming along nicely

Replaced the fairing, and fairing stay. A big thanks to Motorcycles Unlimited for ordering the fairing stay while you were close and having it delivered on Tuesday. Especially since I was too busy to even think about it, you guys always going out of your way

Also removed the bulky and hideous mirrors and turn signals and wired my turn signals into the headlamp assembly running lights. Next step is to replace the stock bulbs with some superbright LED bulbs so they are more visible.

Also here's a bunch of photos since I promised some people I would post them up.

Click on photos to enlarge them.

I kept my mirrors but removed the turn signal part and have the same integrated turn signal mod on mine also. Get a solo seat and get rid of that exhaust and your in business. Akrapovic makes a midpipe to get rid of the exhaust box underneath the bike, its about $180 but well worth it if you plan to just do a slip-on or something down the road.

I'm bought a jardine GP1 with a sound insert temporarily till I decide on which full system to get.

EDIT: As for the solo seat, my +1 gets angry with me when I do that because she cant meet me up when I am out and then ride.

Most definately, I got a Jardine GP1 for 40$ on craigslist that my girls cousin picked up in Austin, so I should have that this weekend. Its just a temporary fix to remove the exhaust boom box and hideous stock exhaust. The Jardins are a little loud for my taste even with the sound reduction insert though so I am looking at my options for a full system.

ZX14 is a great bike, but I don't miss it one bit. The Gen3 ZX10s are infinitely better... thats what happens when you leave a bike for so many years non-updated though I suppose.

Instead of getting mirror block offs, considering filly the holes with spiked bolts, similiar to the ones used on fairings.

For example below (though I havent decided on the style yet, open to suggestions)

Could go with 2 short ones on the outside and one larger one on the inside.
