Trikes just aren't the same as leaning it in a corner. Do the thing lefthander does and add in an electronic shifter and forget the clutch except on takeoffs.

Andy Mercer at Metric Motorcycles has an R1 with the shifter on it. Push the button and go through the gears.

I have also seen a guy, that added a snowmobile/ATV thumb throttle...

it is cool you got out to ride.. I imagine that did feel pretty good.

there are ways to get around most anything .. but I figure you know that already!

Excuse my brain fart, but I can't remember which side you have.. my bad.. something with linked brakes might be the ticket to start with.

I'm not saying you shold get a gold wing but an option on them is a set of training wheels that comes down at like 5 mph. They also have an starter motor that doubles as a reverse gear.

Just a couple concepts that go along with the shifting. Air shifters are pretty common in drag racing, well, for shifting up anyway. Down I'm not so sure about.

Congrats!

Yamaha has the electronically shifting version of the FJR now. Something could be done with that setup.

****ing yeah dude.

you, sir, have the right attitude.

i hate when somebody tries to make their dreams come true, they buy a bike, the whole 9 yards, then they drop it in a parking lot...they break a frame slider, and they "give up". they dont want to ride anymore becuase their bike isnt perfect and they arent a perfect rider. it makes me sick. its like when someone quits a video game because their little dude died or whatever.

next time see one of these punks im gonna bring you up...

"yeah, quit being a whining loser, cause i know this dude that lost two limbs in a wreck and he still wheelies Busa's...he still drags knee, but only in the lefties...cause well..."

(yes i will exagerate, but ill do it with a straight face, lol)

but on the real i say you should get a t-rex.

its tight as , and your right, you dont need to lean to have fun on a bike.

AND HALF THE GUYS ON HERE DONT LEAN THEIR 2 WHEELERS ANYWAYS!

its all about having fun, posing anyways! :laughing6

driving the t-rex is still gonna give you badass exciting rush, too.

funny funny, but i would only drag a knee on the right side, doing it on the left might end up costing me like 20 grand in repairs to my c-leg.
