I have a Bell Star. Not sure if you remeber it from the F/ville ride. I like it. I am debating however whether or not to get another helmet. Arai Corsair V or a Shoei RF-1100. Patrick at M/U tells me about the new HJC helmets and they are really nice as well. Though you pay hefty price getting the Arai Corsair V. The Shoei is a bit cheaper. I got the Bell Star because it was reasonably priced and every helmet I have owned has been Bell. That's all I have had in the 30+ years of riding. Bell has saved me from from head injuries and a broken neck (Bell Moto 3, bless that helmet!!) So I am torn about getting another brand of helmet. I was looking to get a flat black helmet and Bell Star has one. Something for me to think about.

All of those graphics are nice and well made, just not my cup of tea.

I have yet to try on a Bell helmet.
Maybe next time I'm in a shop where they carry them I'll give them a shot.

For myself I would just get the flat black. They look good.

I do believe it was his Bell Star helmet. If I am not mistaken.

The top two have nice designs, although the bullet-holes on the first are pushing it.

Edit: I'm probably going to make a bell my next helmet, because of those transitions visors. It's amazing that helmet manufacturers are only now using that technology.

What's so special about Bell helmets besides the SNELL? I pretty much look for airflow so I'm not sweating a lot.
I think the transition ability of the lenses fades over time.

How does the transition lens work? Wish my shoei and suomy had that feature.

I agree. I have to wear earplugs as well. It can be loud but the airflow is great. The interior padding is very comfortable.
