TT used to be the place to go. Then they did a format change and quite frankly it sucks since.

SM Junkie is fine, but the level of DRZ-specific knowledge on TT was unsurpassed. Now I hardly go to TT because it's so hard on the eyes. I think I'm not alone either. Hate it when a good resource goes to like that..

Only difficult time you're going to have with the mods, is pulling the carb out to swap out jets/needle.

That is a PITA.

And with this gas we buy around here the carb on the E gums up bad. I swear if the bike sits two weeks I have to take the carb apart. For some reason the SM isn't quite so finicky.

that carb boot and airbox

3x3 mod with a pipe is cake and well worth it. if I didnt buy the fcr and pipe at the same time, i might have stopped at the 3x3. it really seemed opened up a lot of restriction it felt from my dyno, without proper jetting...could only imagine with proper jetting.

fcr is awesome but i still have more jetting to deal with (i have a lean spot at a cruising 70 mph - requires me to slow down or go faster for more or less RPM)

i havent done the loctite, free power, or the mcct but those are on the list...

What kind of pipe? I have an HMF and it ought to be LMF because it practically raises the dead. And I like it.

Lots of stuff you can do to these bikes. I'd like a better front brake and Marchesini wheels myself.

You are going to want to keep that battery on a tender if you don't ride it at least once a week.
