Mancuso Sucks

OK, so I call Mancuso. Press 4 for parts. Listen to it ring for 15 rings. Call back, same thing. Press 1 for sales, 5 rings. Then I remember that old phrase unique to the motorcycling world, "Race on Sunday, Rest on Monday". FML, it's Monday, they are probably closed.

Seriously, how hard is it to be closed on Monday and have an announcment on your multiple thousand dollar digital answering service saying you are closed?

As a test, I picked Stubbs off our site sponsor list. Ring Ring..."Thank you for calling Stubbs. We are currently closed......"

I won't even start on how annoying it is that bike shops think they don't need to be open 7, or even 6 days a week. Who do they think they are? Chick Fii A?

I worked at a mom and pop motorcycle shop in college, so I understand how being open 7 days isn't fair to a small outfit. No cell phones back then so we had peaceful days off. I just can't figure out why mega dealers with huge capital investment stay closed 2 out of 7 days. Seems like a lot of lost sales on Sundays. Maybe it's like the car business or banking and they are not allowed to be open 7 days?

Houston superbikes open 6 days a week.....and even special events every so often on Sundays.

The little guys often provide much better service than the big guys.

+1 Mancuso has had the same hours for years and the OP's lack of a functional memory does not justify the thread title in any way.

Liquor stores arer closed on Sunday and I still love them!
