In theory, both riders could attempt to claim h/r, wether both could, or realistically 'would' be charged... see where I'm going?

Now, viewing pd were not called to the scene... I think its most likely pd & one co's would be inclined to blow the h/r aspects off. The witness statements possible being considered invalid due to the lack of officer at the scene.
I think you are correct. So in retrospect we are all sorry Fred went down. This thread should serve notice to people who start group rides and who go on group rides that they need to be extra cautious when riding with people that they don't know.

Fred, I wish your bike a speedy recovery.

This situation sucks all around. It's certainly a shame to say it, but some hispanics really do set themselves up for this image.

It's threads like this that help us see (to quote MykolJ) which members are trying to find diplomatic solutions vs those that just wanna throw in charged race related remarks.

Whether this non-english speaking rider had insurance or not AND his actions after the accident really does add another negative image to what people say about Hispanics. It is relevant to forming your opinion, but racist remarks do NOT belong on this board.

OP has his info that he needs. The rest of this thread should be geared towards helping him get a resolution, not more race related garbage or it'll get locked.

Now..what I'd like to know, did 'Carlos' pass OP in his lane, or go outside the lane to pass him.

AND presuming 'carlos' passed him outside the lane, was it a legal passing zone or a no passing zone?

What's funny is I noticed Design Air Houston under your name. My neighbor not 24 hours ago told me I needed to call Design Air for an A/C service I need on my house.

If you're wishing fellow riders more harm you certainly won't get my business. If you're going to say like that I would probably not promote a business on this site.

What's even more up is you went back and deleted it. Meaning, for a second, you actually thought it would be a good idea to wish this guy more wrecks.
I didn't delete anything, take another look and you will see it has not been edited.

Then either way he made an illegal pass.
