Here is the latest update from Carlos:

I was able to get his real number and started texting him, i started by just asking how he was doing after the accident and he said he was doing ok, a few bruises but nothing broken, then i asked him if he got in touch with the other party involved and he said no, i suggested that it would be to the best of his interest to do so specially if he was hit from behind (according to his words), then he asked me if i was the other guy's friend and i told him that i don't really know either one but was just trying to help so nobody gets screwed. I told him that from the tire marks it shows that he got hard on the brakes going into the turn, meaning that he wasnt going to make the turn by braking so hard, i explained to him that whenever you go into a turn and slam on the brakes, the bike will stand up and go straight which is what he did, i also told him that the other guy lay his bike down to avoid t boning him which could have killed both riders, after that i never heard from him again.

Theoretically, I would begin to ignore you too. In his eyes, you are speculating. It would be quite naive to think "Carlos" has not read this thread... From a distance, this ultimately rests 100% with Fred continuing to refuse to get the police involved. It's a very telling sign! Especially since DeadFred's life was on grave danger.

Because of that, I'm going to [correctly/incorrectly] presume that we have two douche-bag criminals who have no business being on a motorcycle thereby ruining it for everyone else. It's bullshit like this that gives us legitimate riders a bad name.

by the same token, it could be surmised carlos know he up, but he's not man enough to own up to it, and op's afraid the common implication is right that the pd etc isnt going to be inclined to do much at this point.

honestly, it's probably about time this thead was put down and buried.

Post the number and we can all hassle him. I would at the very least make a queer ad on Craigslist with his number on it. Something.
