Finished (for now) Friday night and rode it home.

Late Friday night it was cutting out on me.

Found the gas tank was under vacuum when driving. Swapped and tested the tank caps until I realized the forward vent in the tank we though initially was a water drain. So I ended up cutting a small part of the tank seal, positioned it at 2 o'clock for maximizing water ingress prevention.

Ordered a twist on cap on the internet and will make a dirtbike-type cap system for venting in/out.

Next, need to raise the rearsets again like the 250, do a pair valve removal (parts ordered last night.)

All in all, great bike and although the rear tire is smaller then recommended per manufactorer, had no problems with it and it feels near the same weight as the 250. Got alot of compliments and it sounds soooo throaty and deep

As always, I never stop modding so there's always something to do

Have several asking about it but no. I need to install turn signals and check over Sean's work w the plastics. Also gonna let some that have been asking to test ride it. Its got alot of attention, still has the pazzos, steel lines, tires, etc etc on it w the intake and delvokic exhaust; I love it. The red/blk sets it off

Nice job Matt. Even the old bike still looks good (with all of the loftover parts).

Question on the Muzzy exhaust... Did you re-orient the outlet relative to original?

both bikes are looking great
do you have a sound clip of the 650 w/ muzzy?
we passed several times out in my neck of the woods with you on rumble bee (pretty easy to spot you) and i thought the 250 sounded really good

I would kill (pay) to have some of that plastic welding done to get rid of my fender!

Looks good... and of course they are both just 250s!
