New Fairing

Well new fairing came in from Motorcycles Unlimited, and it is beautiful!

So I took the old shoddily repaired cracked fairing with the most hideous black paint I've ever seen on off.

Only to find out, the fairing stay has a broken tab and is bent!! Previous owner when he repaired it after being dropped just ignored this fact, which is what led the his "repaired fairing" cracking again, because the fairing stay was putting to much flex on it.

So now I gotta wait till Monday to order a new fairing stay.... in the mean time I did re-wire the turn signals into the running lights in the headlight assembly and got rid of the factory mirrors and turn signals so it will have a beautiful sleek look without those gigantic hideous mirrors on there!

Ya looks really nice now, I gotta go to hardware store and fab up some temporary block off plates until I can decide how I want to block off the mirror location.
