Got ya. Plenty of VP, and plenty of Bud Light at your place.

Welcome to MH and Houston.

I am a transplant as well. Born in Elk Grove Village, grew up in South Elgin along the river, and spent some time in Hampshire before my Pops died.

Moved to Texas as a kid, and haven't looked back.

Get your CHL ASAP when you get here, we don't have the stupid gun laws like they have in Illinois, especially Chicago.

Stay away from Gunspoint, I mean Greenspoint. The southwest side is a lil shady too.

Where in Chicago do you live again?? I'm thinking if you lived inside actual city limits you'll be fine anywhere here.

CHL? What's that? I'm assuming so I can carry a gun? Thats one of the reasons I wanted to move there. I'm going to fulfill my right to carry a gun.
One of the first places I looked at was just outside of greenspoint...but then I later heard about "gunspoint", and was suggest to look in humbolt, kingwood, cypress... Those all seem like really nice areas. So I got my place in kingwood.

I live way out in the suburbs of Chicago...30 miles west to be exact. But I've work in the west side of the city in the really areas for the past 6 years, so I got my street smarts. I couldn't imagin the rough areas being any worse then this dump.

It's pretty cool so many people on here are from Chicago. No one has a bad thing to say about Houston. That makes me even more excited to get down there. I'll be there April 23, so I hope in the following days we can figure out a meet and greet so I can meet you all, and go for a ride. I haven't even rode my bike since I've done all the work to it. I just can't wait to see what it does.

Welcome to MH. I made the same trek down here from Arlington Heights, Il a couple of years ago. Its a welcome change for sure especially after this past winter up there. Highways are in very nice shape around Houston too, the roads...ehh not so much.
