Comming from Chicago!

Hello everyone! I'm new on here, and will be new to the Houston area. I was born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, and I'll be moving to the Houston area in about a month. I'll be moving to Kingwood to be exact. But anyways I got fed up with Chicago, so I put in to transfer my job down to Houston. I don't know anyone, nor do I have any family. So I hope to start talking with everyone to find a few riding buddies, or a big group to go out and run around town with. I can't wait to get down there, because the riding season doesn't start here for another 2 months at least, and I've spent the last 6 months working on my bike in a barley heated garage to get it ready for this summer.

But enough of that, here's my baby. An 07 turbo Hayabusa. last year it made 247 @6psi on pump gas, on stock wheelbase. This year I did engine, fuel system, and suspension upgrades. It should be over 400hp easily. It's I just got it finished, and it's ready to go to the dyno, but then this move came up so I'm going to have to hold off till after I get down there. But here's a few pics of it a few weeks back before it was finished. And I look forward to riding with you all!

And yes I did all the work myself.

I have a question for you. In order for you to get your Texas license plates, did you have to take your bike to a vehicle inspection? What do they look for, in those inspections? Basically make sure parts arnt falling off? As you can see my bikes heavily modified, and I don't want them to suspend my plates or anything.

The engine and turbo are fine. It's a safety only inspection, so they check things like horn, at least one mirror, headlights, taillights, tire tread, etc. . .

You're moving to the wrong side having a modded Busa though. ZXALAN, JoeBusa, Bluewave, yeo-whatever all are on the SE side.

This are the things I like to hear! If it's one thing I'm good at, it's drinking beer. Whats the beer of choice down there?

Yeah it sucks here. However they finally did re-finished all the highways last summer, so you can ride without shaking the fillings out of your teeth, but regardless, you can only do that 5 months out of the year. I'm sure excited to able to ride year round. I can't wait to take picture of me out on the bike in the middle of December, and send them back to my friends at home, they're gonna hate me.
