The fog was really bad close to the coast. I think the worst part of the ride last night was how stupid the cagers acted with it.

I was in it last night. It wasnt too bad.

The worst I have been in was outside of victoria. I could not see a thing, I had to follow a big rig to navigate the fog.

I was riding up 45 by greenspoint last night... Wasn't too bad for being my first time riding in the fog.

I rode in it this morning at 7am coming from TX City to Conroe. The fog didnt clear up until downtown and it was still foggy. I rode with highbeams on and hazard lights on most of the way, and I had to turn my head to clear the mist from my visor every 10 seconds or so. I rode through Kemah/146 around 4pm today and although the rest of Houston was clear, lol, there was fog at the top of the bridge! You could see the fog rolling in from Galveston Bay.

See, that was another problem. High beams actually hurt your ability to see as it illuminates the fog and not the road. That is why "fog" lamps are so low to the ground to flood light under the fog as there is often a gap under the mist. So many people were driving with their brights on. They would be putt putting in the left lane at 35 mph 'til I blasted past them at 65 mph and then wham! they would be on my tail like fire on a pair of foxes.

Still the most memorable part of that trip was the idiot drunk who was intentionally messing with me once I got to Austin. Riding Austin + POS slow bike + 2:45 am = STOOOPID...
