Isn't the point of a meet to socialize? Who cares where it takes place? My wife doesn't like Hooters, doesn't mean that's gonna stop me from meeting up. I'm here to meet people, make some friends, and enjoy the ride. No more, no less. If you don't wanna drink then don't. If you wanna drink then do. Easy peezy

I'm not seeing the significance if alcohol is involved or not.
If you don't have the self governing to control your alcohol consumption OR craving at a meet, how can you expect yourself to control a 2 wheeled motor vehicle whether under the influence or not? Sounds like one would give into other temptations as well.

OP- BETTER RIDERS MEETINGS BEFORE A RIDE, and better leaders to enforce those rules.

We have moved it to Buffalo Wild Wings on Hwy 6...

Everyone seems to be happy with the new location...

Maybe if we ever get nostalgic we'll have it back at Brother's.

This wednesday though, I'm heading over to FreeBirds...if you guys want we can meet breifly at the parking lot at brother's and ride out to freebirds.

No worries man, I hardly ever take anything to heart or get too butthurt... but I get what you're saying.

I know there will be plenty of opinions here, but I asked for them... Some of them are helping though...

On a serious note, I'm sure that the group I have come to know would never tolerate that kind of behavior, nor should any group. I would like it if there where more of a female presence in our community, maybe then my wife would feel like tagging along or meet us at a greet with my son.

The good ole days was fun for sure. La hacienda was a perfect spot and TON's of peeps showed up from all over. Use to get back parking lot roped off and had tables waiting on everyone. I remember the 80+ peeps showing up was crazy and a lot of memories from doing those meet and greets.

Even had the stunters in back doing stuff had the wait staff out there watching all of us.

Hey

I wanna whoolie!!!! nah but for real a good 10 minutes before the ride to make sure everyone is well informed of the route, formation, if you wheelie then use a different lane etc. just basic stuff. And switching up spots should be good so people dont get sick of the same place and also the location may be more convenient to different people on different weeks.

lol. i did go up and try to converse with the other riders and they were rude and blew me off... like i said i was just bringing this to attention because a few people said they would like to see more female riders out there. if people don't feel welcome when they come out they arent going to come out again, no matter their gender.

It's sad that a bad experience has greatly shaped your opinion of us. I can gaurantee if you come to a Katy m/g, New Rider and myself would be more than happy to talk to you.

I wouldn't want to hang out with rude people either...but so far everybody has been cool.
