Kawasaki Versys in League City

I bought a Versys in October to do long rides, I want another sport bike eventually for track days and some responsible street shenanigans. The Versys is a much better bike than I expected, I like it a lot. I used to be pretty active with the Houston Sportbike Network, anyone remember that forum?

Hi Driftwood,
Welcome!!!
I'm new to the "moto-world"(and motohouston.com) and I'm thinking also to buy a byke for long rides. I just change jobs and I'll be doing everyday trips to different places and with different mileages. When you say long rides, what is a long ride for you? I'll be riding something like 80 to 120 miles a day max, but I'll need to carry my small net-book and may be 30 Lbs more, I'm looking into a Kawasaki KLR 650. What do you think?

What up! I really dig those Versys's they look awesome and seem really durable and almost dual sport style. I read a thread about a guy riding one around the world.

the versys would be much better choice unless you are riding dirt/sand/offroad mostly
