WIND > SHIFT LEVER

pulled bike out of garage. wind blew the bike over and broke the shift lever.

DAAAAAAMN

Oh well, called Motorcycles Unlimited and just ordered up a set of Vortex rearsets in black. Kinda sucks that it was my exhaust money, but oh well.....

Just remembered.... they offer motohouston discounts as well...

Note to self: ask about that tomorrow.

Yea, that is why I am not tooooo at having to replace it.

I was real close to just drilling out a hole, tapping it, and putting a bolt in it

Don't feel too bad. I just dropped my bike slowly onto a bag of bird seeds 20 minutes ago lol. Apparently when I rolled it into my garage after changing the front pads from OEM Organic to EBC HH , something caught the kickstand and raised it back up. No damage for me though I don't know what it is with me and 0mph slow drops

I don't remember any wind today...Especially not enough to blow over a 400lb motorcycle.

I had mine blow over while the forks were strapped at the track. I caught it and let it down slow slowly. I was at the rear and only had a hand on the tail light. I would have ripped it off to stop the bike.It still it all up.
