Does it sputter or bog then die or does it just instantly stop running?
How old is the battery?
How old is the fuel?
When did the problem start in relation to the last time you added gas?
Does it restart easily or crank and crank?
Do you lose power to the speedo box when it dies?
Have you checked wiring for chafing?

How many miles on it?
Does it throw an FI code when it dies?

Does it die when u chop the throttle? I had a bike do that to me cuz my idle was set way to low. Everytime I pulled in the clutch and chopped the throttle the RPMs would drop and the bike would shut off

What's it idled at?
Did this recently start happening?
Does it do it pretty regularly or is it random?

Raise the idle to 1200 rpm and see if it improves.

Could be the tip switch or a loose wire. Is there a power commander installed?

04 GSXR1000 is fuel injected so you do NOT have a jet kit, no matter wht somebody told you.
