Hit and run fail caught on go pro

Dude hit a biker and tried running. Good thing the rider wasn't injured too badly and the Subaru driver helped box in the a$$hole.

I'm not sure how I would have handled the situation myself.

Not saying he had to bust the guy's , but asking permission to get his insurance info? Whenever the guy just ran over his leg?

Amen. There's plenty of folks who don't like motorcycles; got that image in mind of "scary aggressive bikers" - including some leos. Every one person who manages to act like a civilized human being helps break that negative image/stereotype and thus helps all of us. So thanx, brother.

Wow. I always laugh in my head at people that rant about how everyone in the US needs to learn how to speak English, but after watching that video I am beginning to think it should at least be a requirement for a US driver's license.

this rider definitely handled this situation well compared to what i would have done but you always have to think about what can happen if he would have done otherwise. i was almost in a similar situation when 2 middle aged white males almost did the same thing to me on 99grand parkway heading south. they paced me then tried to run me over while his passenger clearly watched. i was going to stop and give them a piece of my mind but i was thinking they may have been trying to get me to stop to rob me bc it was dark as that night and they didnt exactly look like nice guys. i was not carrying that night and there were no other cars around so i thought smart and took off. ride safe out there guys and think about your actions and its consequences.

I would have had a hard time being nice if I had to ask the driver to pull over more than once.

Handled situation well except for boxing him in with his bike. That was a risky move.

im sure the police/judge appreciates 3 things about this video, 1.video footage 2.witness 3.a cool calm level headed motorcyclist who could've esclalated the situation.
