Maribelle's. Boondoggle's. Molly's. Legends Billiards. In that order. Boondoggle's (addressed in El Lago) and Molly's in Webster both have patios we could take over. I think Boondoggle's has more beer on tap, and they have awesome pizzas. I threw Legends out there because it's a little more interactive than just sitting around and drinking. Just my .02.

Yeah NO ..... I campaigned that meet for 3 days before it's scheduled date and we STRUGGLED to get 10 MH people to meet....Yet two wheel texas guys had a big group at T Bone Toms.... Then when I tried to do the big James Coney island revival, we had about 25 bikes show up, 17 of which I BROUGHT WITH ME....

People always complain about SE not doing anything anymore, yet when Meets/rides get posted up, very few ever show up....It wasnt like this 2-3 years ago...

It may take some creativity to get people to meet up for a ride down here. Someone earlier mention that there's nothing here but 15 mile straightaways, and they're right. Pretty much anywhere worth going in SE Houston is 15-20 min away from Clear Lake. Taking HWY 3 or 146 to Galveston would be about the longest ride in this area. The Fayettville ride was 60 or so miles one way, with lots of twisties from what I'm told. People went because it was exciting.

There's just nothing like that down here. I'd be up for a 20-30 minute jaunt, but I imagine some people feel that a ride that short just isn't worthwhile. Ideas that come to mind are:

1. A Saturday ride. Meet in Dickinson, and take 517 to Alvin. Joe's BBQ has all you can eat ribs on Saturdays. Eat lunch/late lunch, then take 517 all the way back to 146. Pick a bar in Kemah/Seabrook (Maribelle's, Boondoggle's) and hang there.

2. Same as above, but instead of Kemah, head to Galveston.

3. An any day ride. Meet at Mall of the Mainland. Take 1764 to 146 and ride to Baytown. I'm sure there's something to do in Baytown, so if you're familiar with it, please chime in.

I'm tired now. I'm not usually given to sudden bursts of quasi-planning thought processes like this.

Anyone else have ideas? More interesting = more participants.

Headed to Molly's now! Big Beer night

And +1 on Boondoggle's pizza! I may not have Ormand's qualifications, but I certify their pizza as deelish!

All you can eat bbq doesnt sound good. Need to meet somewheres like james coney on nasa1 then head towards g-town and hit 146 towards kemah. Stop at t bones have food or some beer (whatever you feel like). From there we can decide where to next. If i have my bike back by sat ill be riding all day yall just let me know when and where to meet up. I do have some friends from spring coming down this sat to ride too.

Wait, they opened a Molly's in Webster? Or are you referring to the Molly's off Ramada?

I'm guessing you talking about me??? I can't get enough of the NICE weather.....and it's always more fun to ride with someone than alone.
