Unless I win a free track day...

No, not this March 6th... I wouldn't feel too comfortable in the ring with the level 2 guys...

I'm still too slow and don't want to go and slow those guys down

I'd like to get a few peeps to ride down there, just chill-pace, and watch. For those that haven't seen races, it's pretty cool.
I was thinking about going down there to check out the races. Should be pretty interesting to watch. And I think I read somewhere that if we show up on a bike, admission is cheaper... is that right?

I know exactly what you mean I love my DRZSM on a the track, even if it only has 32 HP +/- and a 100 MPH top end.

Just wait until TWS (Texas World Speedway). You'll be watching the SS bikes walk away at 140 while you sit at 100 all the way down the main straight. At the end of the straight, you'll be a 1/4 mile behind. Play it right and you'll be right back on their tails when you enter the main straight again, or maybe a little ahead. Cornering speed and good brakes are so much more fun than top speed, IMHO. Especially if you are like me and the idea of turn 1 at 150 MPH scares the out of you.

Come to MSRH Sunday and see how quick a tard can run vs a big bike, even on a wide open 3 mile course. At Cresson, MSR "C", I was amazed when I saw the experts on 1000's turning 1:18's and the 450 motards in the 1:22 range. Those guys can hustle.

I have a cheater tard: SXV 550. I won't get QUITE as obliterated on the straights.

The stock SXV I rode was every bit as fast to 80-90 mph as my 08 Tuono was. Hard to hold on to. It was like trying to ride a rocket with wagon wheels on it.

Honestly, I think my SXV is faster than my RSV to 80.

[QUOTE=NewRider;2799746]Yeah man, I might end up doing GSS on the 19th, maybe we can do that under the guidance of our very own dinosaur....I think he can handle the track better than the quote button on the forums.
