You see, we have this section that is reserved for our sponsors and sometimes the schools that sponsor here, they think it's a good idea to post their schedules on there. Weird right? I know!

Yeah man, sounds good. I have a suit and boots and all, just need to find the time and a good group of friends to help get me started.
(Hey, how did the exhaust install go after all?)

I have no doubt Ivan could set up a trackday M/G.

Thanks for this great post. Getting a view of the first day riders experience is an eye opener. I have been riding a long time but April 10 will be my first actual track day. I know I have tons to learn and lots of bad habits to break. I will be out there just to have fun and take baby steps.

Oh haha it's not FULLY mounted on but it's still mounted safely. I'll finish it soon. I'll try my best to make it out to your first track day. April is at TWS (Texas World Speedway) but I cant make it. Next one is in may at msrh

Yeah man, I might end up doing GSS on the 19th, maybe we can do that under the guidance of our very own dinosaur....I think he can handle the track better than the quote button on the forums.

I was hoping to see you out there this time, maybe the 19th in March or msrh in April..

By the way, there was some gravel on the track not as bad as in navasota

I want to get a group going for this Sunday (if weather permits) to take a nice ride out.

I'm working on something to help us get out there on the track, let's hope it plays well...but just incase, make a "track fund" I'm trying to start mine now.

I wouldn't recommend so much the march 6th Ride Smart track day for us noobs, because it's merged with level 2...it's better to figure out your line. Withought the fear of slowing the guy behing you down or getting passed. Those level 2 guys are pretty fast.

We'll talk about this some more tomorrow at the meet

I want to do a track day but I am thinking I would need a lighter bike. Though I could probably do it on my VFR but it's such a pig!! Good write up Ivan. Looking forward to participating in one. I might need to bring a small paper bag incase i hyperventilate which = nervouseness...

One of the reasons I didn't go back is that after 1 trackday it absolutely killed the thrill of street riding for me and I can't afford to go to the track on a regular basis :-(

It was good to see you out there learning & having fun. I didnt read the whole but hope you felt the difference in confidence/comfort vs. the street. No worrying about cars/debris.

Your VFR will be fine on the track; just ride within your limits and get used to the track. We've seen ZX-14s & hyabussa out there, and they're running around just fine.

They've had cruiser classes at GSS and I've seen a Goldwing at TWS (Texas World Speedway) with RideSmart
