It is a guy I work with. Pearland PD won't give us any info on his status. If anyone can tell us anything, please call my cell 281-620-3007. He doesn't have any family in this area.

We know he was transported to the Med Center code 3 and that is all the info they will give us other than to confirm that it was him.

The accident on at the Beltway 8 westbound feeder & hwy 288 involves a car and a motorcycle.
The driver of that car didn’t stop (failure to stop and render aid). Driver may have run away on foot.
The motorcycle rider was injured and taken to Memorial Herman hospital.

When a driver runs like that, it makes me feel that they were the one that caused the accident.

I hope your coworker is fine, I had a nice uneventful trip into work today, can't wait for the nice weather on the ride home.

I saw it on the news this morning but they didn't say it was a bike, they just said the service rd was shut down. I hope your co-worker is OK. Keep us informed.

I assure you I don't think the wreck is. Getting smashed at a stop or some
other way that it is hard to see coming/do something about is one of my
biggest fears on the scooter.

Latest update is that all but 4 ribs were broken, both lungs collapsed, broken clavicle and crushed pelvis. Externally, he doesn't seem so bad with bruising around his shoulder and a black eye. He flat lined in the ER but they got him back. We will see how he does thru the night.
