yep 2 weeks on, 2 weeks off. and sleep is not part of the job. most offshore jobs will get you lots of overtime work too!

so get ready to make the big bucks and workin hard....or just go with me and knockover a few banks, and be like taco bell, run for the border.

randy, offshore work is not too bad. you will make more money than you ever have(and you'll work for it). the time off is nice. all of your training/workclothes/boots/gas money/travel fees will be paid for. SwiftE works for one of the best outfits in the world. Hit him up, you can make 45-60K working 6 months a year. the experience you will gain is priceless. if you can handle roustabouting/roughnecking, you can handle anyting. If you have any questions about the work or lifestyle offshore, PM me or call me and ill tell you anything. I worked offshore for a couple of years before i decided to go back to school and sell MC parts. Just my 2 cents of course. JET

It's got to be nice to know you are well enough off so that you can be picky.

I worked offshore for a few years. Good gig, with good pay.

maybe with a degree. it also depends on how hard you work. a roustabout could work 10 months out of the year and earn 75K, but you'll burn out and quit long before that. The possibilities are endless offshore, it all depends on your work ethic and willingness to learn.
