thats true. that statement itself is true. however, putting yourself in excessive risk isnt just "not scared to die". it's selfish. none of us live in a social vacuum. I'm just saying to be careful. as much as we like to think, "i can make my own choices, and I'll live with the consequences" it doesnt just stop with what your choices do to you. If this kid had any family (which of course he does, didnt just sprout out of the ground), friends, co-workers, etc.. this loss is gonna f**k them up!

either way, my main point was just that i feel for his family. and that i hope they make it through this tough time.

The problem with this phrase:

is believing it. "Witnesses" are not usually riders, and consider the usual 5-10mph or so that we typically maintain on top of traffic speed, combined with the typical active defensive driving we have to practice to be "high speed and weaving".

In other words, the bikes could easily have been riding completely normally, safe and sane, but some cager who can barely handle the speed limit when the roads are empty on a good day perceives it as speeding.

I feel there shouldn't be a "blanket RIP pass" just because they were a rider....

Sometimes I really want to make a "Burn in for your stupidity and the hurt and anguish you caused your family and friends" thread..

But that is not PC apparently, no matter how stupid or how many times we see the same things (like riders running Routes on 610 and killing themselves)

Yea, anything is possible, but what is more likely than not? I ride a supersport. I've been on 610 group rides. I know how many groups ride on 610. All cagers hate us, even riders that cage it hate us, yeah right. Denial and justification will just get more riders killed, but hey, it's not my .

Everyone else is to blame but me. The world hates riders for absolutely no justification whatsoever. I (Bevo) bought a supersport because I always obey all traffic laws, rules, and regulations.
