Force=Mass X Acceleration. A 150lb body traveling down the road at just 50mph has over 7500 newtons acting on it. Double that when you hit a hundred which is where most of us chill at. We all Know we're taking our lives into our hands every time the kickstand goes up- we know that just might be the day our number comes up. Sometimes its fate and there's nothing anybody could do about it.

on the road, anybodys mistake could kill us. Doesnt hafta be our own. When I ride, i not only stay vigilant of cagers but i ASSUME they'll try to hit me. That way when they do something unexpected, I know where Im going. I have a plan. I increase my survivability.

R.I.P. rider

Let us remember the souls of all our fallen brothers and sisters taken before thier time and keep them and their families in our prayers.
I agree, its fate. When your numbers up that's it, its going to happen by choking if your eating, falling while walking with scissors, getting jacked, whatever. Your not in control of when you die as you think. Even while riding things out of your control will take you out if its your time, a blowout on a new tire, debris from a lost load. That's why some of us wreck pretty bad and walk away, cause its not our time. When the Lord wants you, he will take you.

On a side note- I've rode with the Katy crew and they are all about " The Pace".

Bevo dont know when to chill out. either way, rider error or car driver error, dude is gone. I've seen plenty of times where a car moves over into the same lane as mine or other riders and almost clipped the rider, I think that's what Floyd is talking about, either you are speeding or not, it happens and continues to happen.

I'm sorry I can't help it. You might want to check into what unit constitutes as force in the english system and see how that relates to a person's weight.

Yea, I understand that. I've ridden a bike at least one or two times, but this:

witnesses say there were several motorcycles traveling at a high rate of speed, weaving in and out of traffic.
They weren't just cruising or going to work. It's not smart to ride like that in traffic on 610.

Yes bevo this means u 2. Lol. Now, let's quit throwing stones, offer your condolances and blessings and move on. K thanx

yup. Not to mention, the article does a poor job of stating who hit whom. Could have been the motorcycle getting too close to a car and being his own fault.

One of the vehicles reportedly side-swiped a vehicle eastbound near T.C. Jester. That rider lost control of his motorcycle, slid several meters on the concrete and hit a construction sign pole.
In order to hit a construction sign pole, you probably have to be in or near a construction zone

..moving on...

aside from the rest of the BS.. I'm going to attempt to bring this back.

May the rider rest in peace. Now, this is about the time when some people would say, "I can't imagine what the family is going through".. but i do. I don't usually pray, but I will for this, in hopes that the family can make it through this traumatic event..

the scary is... as many people have pointed out: the riding season has begun. a lot of riders are itching to fire up their bikes and tear it up out there.. I don't really have the clout or experience to start telling people how to ride, but just take into consideration that there are people in your life that count on you. dont go off, do some stupid/unecessary , and up everything for the people that are close to you.

riding is fun and all, but it's never worth trading EVERYTHING for it. done preaching, ride safe.
