Sunday Breakfast Option

I've discovered a gem of a place, I'm there more often than not on Sunday Mornings about 10am-ish.

Place is called Los Cucos, they have an awesome breakfast buffet on Sat & Sun mornings, roughly 8am-noon. Price is around 10 bucks and includes drink (good strong coffee!), OJ, horchata. All you can eat, large selection, plus some brunch-type items. There's one on Clay rd (just W of hwy 6, before the courthouse) but I've started going to the one in Katy, near Katy Mills Mall. Looked up the address and I think the correct one (2 were listed) is:

5305 Bell Patna Dr, Katy, TX 77494
(281) 644-6808

Like I said, near the mall, next to Fuddruckers and I think near a Red Lobster and perhaps a TGI Fridays.

Come tomorrow 2/13/2011 I should be there roughly 10am to about 11:30. If someone should show up we can see about finding a ride to go on.

Thx... saw that. I'll keep that in mind.
Hope y'all had a great ride.

I'm still keeping my routine. Hey I'm a buffet addict whatcanisay. Got right up on I-10 and was out towards all the good roads asap. Sealy, Cat Spring, Columbus, Fayetteville, Hempstead... had no idea where I was or was going half the time but hey I made it back right?

Anyhoo I've got my routine, I know people will start showing up eventually if I keep posting. So just know I'm gonna bump this thread like I bump your gf.

'Till next week y'all.

Getting a group going is like getting laid; chances pick up if one doesn't try too hard. I feasted, and then took a hella good ride. I will continue to do so; all those who join are just make for a double-win. I'm havin a good time either way. (Although getting "lost" might be more fun if I'm "just following that guy".)

There's a fellow who works there, rides a cruiser (didn't say what kind). Said there was a guy who also worked there rode a sportbike ("I dunno, one o' them crotchitie-rokkits... waddn't a ninjer... had some funny name, like 'Habuzzi' or somethin"). Anyway some young lady-customer begged this fellow for a ride, and they hit a pothole in the parking lot and both left in an ambulance. Assuming the story's true (not that I don't like a little entertaining BS every now 'n then) I mostly send my regards, respect and prayers - but the other part of me is thinking noob+'busa=

Anyway kids, the entertainment awaits. See y'all soon.

Told you I'd bump this. I know it's late but here it is if anyone is on the computer come Sunday morning, before a ride. I'm sure I'll be there; Fayetteville is always nice but I'm thinking Austin-ish. Maybe.

Oh and yes the address listed in the opening post is correct, along with the other restaurants mentioned nearby.

Hey... you coming?

@ babymilo - they have boxes of cereal; what I thought was horchata was just milk. They do however have horchata at the Clay Rd & Hwy 6 location. But you don't want to go there - I'm not making that location the new hot spot. PP-5000 shall now be by Katy Mills Mall.

@ Azylum - I aim to show up around 10-10:30, KSU roughly 11:30-noon. If [angel choir] someone promises to show [/angel choir] I'm a lot more likely to actually show at a specific time. Just let's not make it like 9 or anything, f**k those morning people.

******

I did take 10 to 71-business (Columbus) scenic route to 71. Passed a sign for Buescher (sp?) State Park. Made a U-ie in Bastrop and chatted with a purdy young redhead at Taco Cabana (seems she rode too). Checked out the park, entrance is only $4, detoured for gas and the wind started blowing like a . My 500-lb Kan-o'-tuna rocked on the kickstand while pumping, gas pumps were rocking like mad. So after some wait I made tracks for the homestead and bypassed the park ride, got blown over a lane more than once.

And fwiw I did have another bike share my spot while eating... 'course, it just had to be a Honda, ridden by one of Katy's finest. No surprise he didn't return my "hey fellow rider" nod. Point is things happen. I guess I'm a happen-magnet. Now I just want to see if I can get some people to just happen to show up for a ride.

Yup, it's that time again. I've even got flavored condoms this time. (JK! - chill!)

Ideas/ride suggestions welcome. OK seriously I've got some new rubber, anxious to try out some twisties. Who's game?

Much less time for sleeping though. Or in my case, working.

HAHAHAHA, you jump on your 636 as well and tell me if it feels short!

I'm ready to go when you are though. I'm getting older myself so I'll probably need to pop an Aleve or two to keep the aches out of my knees.
