Bike(s):
Various Equipment for various uses.
Dirt, Street, Track, Dual Sport, I like em all.

Numbers that others have been using already get given to them unless they are not there and or dont want to use that number. Kind of a seniority deal. Having a few numbers that could be a few combinations usually leaves you an option. I usually bring black duct tape to make my own if I have to. You can also always add a 1 to the front or back of a number if it turns out to be taken. No requirement for numbers I dont think other than size restrictions that are spelled out in the rules like 6" or something on the front and 4" or larger on the sides? I dont remember the sizes right off...

When there are lots of races, they try to pull one off the track and get the other one right on the track. There isnt really any time between sprint races unless there is a designated break which usually lasts 20 minutes give or take and is usually twice during the sprint day and MAYBE 3 times.

Hope this helps.

Jason, anything else you need to be ready? You going to endurance on sunday?

I think I'll be ready. Was going to bring electrical tape for whole number issue. I want to run superstock and then F7N but wanted to change out stock air box between races. Bike is mostly ready aside from a valve check.

I'd like to get through Saturday before I worry about Sunday.

Cyclegear sells the stick on number plate backgrounds. I don't think it has to be yellow for TMGP novices.

I was reading the tech requirements and saw where they want the footpeg hinges taped up. Is that just to keep the spring from popping off in a crash?

You can get away without having to have yellow backgrounds on the numberplates.

They want the tape on the footpeg joint to help keep them from folding and then allowing the hanger from grinding into the pavement and tearing up the track. It seems kind of backwards, but it really does help just having the end of the footpeg sliding on the pavement than having the hanger slide on it. So, use duct tape tightly around the footpeg hanger joint while the footpeg is unfolded.

yeah you dont need the yellow back ground for novice, I think there was only 2 people that were actually running yellow last year.

Jason, you can run alot more than just 2 races with the 100, with the 110 I usually run atleast 7-8 races.

dont worry about it, I will help you out. you can run up in class just not down.

for example I usually run motard novice, F7 & F6 novice, F7 & F6 heavyweight, backwards novice, I use to run supersport but my bike no longer qualifies. I might try a few expert races, I signed up for a couple last year but the weekend I did it I ended up having 6 races back to back so I opted out of a couple of them, lol

Yeah, Rob shoulda been an expert LAST year... Sandbagger!

He was riding that aweful autoclutch last year, I dont know how you can do anything with that thing. It is the only way any of us had a chance against him in sprints.

Went out to check this out today. I'm excited to get my bike built and out there. It looks like a blast. I'll be at the back of the pack, but still having fun.

Vaughn,

I picked up an F5 legal bike last night (partnered with Scott). I have got a lot to learn on this thing, as it is completely different from the F7 bike we had a few years ago with "Team No Redline Essay".

I'll be getting a membership renewed this week hopefully. I may try to make a Katy endurance this year.

Might go ahead and keep the XR and try to get out there a few times this year.
Still needs some suspension work though.
