TWS (Texas World Speedway) on 9/4 - Anyone going up early?

I'm working to earn a track day.

I have to be there at 6:30 am. For those of you that know me (and a lot of you that don't but have read the stories) I'm not a morning person. I'd have trouble waking up at 6:30, much less getting somewhere that far away by then.

Is anyone else going and thinking about camping out the night before? Hotel/motel? I might do it solo, but it'd be more fun to tag along with others that have done this before.

Has anyone camped there before? I've heard it can be done but have no idea the specifics: do they have a certain time they lock the gate? Are the bike safe in the paddock? Are wild boars going to ravage through my stuff and trample me in the middle of the night?!?!?!

Rebecca.
Camping should be fine.
You just need your camping gear.
You'll be safe and so is your bike.
The gate closes at 9PM (or maybe 10PM, so let's say 9PM) and the fee is $10.
There'll be people (riders and instructors) with BBQ.
If you don't mind, you can take a cold shower in the morning.
If I were you, I'll camp.

You're welcome to camp out with me. At least I'd know one person...
Oh, and I have a big 'ol beast of a bike and can carry some of your gear if that's an issue (tent, sleeping bag, etc.) Just don't over-do it and try to load 50lbs. of on my bike. That's my job :icon_bigg
