I just say "It's a Kawasaki" and most people leave me alone.

I've found its easier to just go along with most of those people, you'll never show them the light anyhow!

I call bs on this story, on the basis that you don't ride your bike. So there is no way this happened.

Someone once told me "oh step down huh" when I mentioned my honda was a 600 and not a 1000

Had a guy point at the Street Triple one time and go "How many CC? 1,000??"

"No, 675".

"huh...."

"3-cylinder"

"They make those? Is it fast?"

Never fails.

Sure they do. You can shove a busa motor in a 750 with a little work. I didnt know however they were production models now

I just say I have Suzuki. If they respond with, ah a gixxer huh bro, i know i have that guy on my hands. If i get a different response like what model i just tell them a 750 and leave it at that.

"That Guy" is always the idiot. It's better to let natural selection take care of his dumbass and move along.

Some scars do disappear. I had pins in my arm, and wrist. The ones on my arm are gone. I earned em dammit, that was a lot of pain. Ones through my hand are almost gone. Only visible when I have a sunburn.

So just for the record, elbow dude could have some truth to that.

Where I work it goes like this. That Guy was in an accident and was gone for at least a month. That much is true. But the rest of the story??

Me: I heard about your wreck in the apt complex. Glad you are alive and doing ok
That Guy: yeah, lady hit me at 20mph and I wasn't wearing my gear
Me: You dumbass
That Guy: yeah but my boys fixed the bike just like it was in 2 days
Me: Well that's great to hear
That Guy: Yeah I am now going to buy a Busa and custom paint it and stretch
Me: Really?
That Guy: Yeah, I was gonna spend $6000 on the paint job but I got my boy to do it for under $600. Cowboys logo with white & blue metal flake paint.
Me: Uh-huh
That Guy: Yeah and gonna put full chrome and stretch the rear
Me: So you bought this busa yet?
That Guy: Yeah man i got it 2 months ago
Me: Well since you are doing all this stuff I wanna see pictures
That Guy: Oh yeah I will bring them
Me: Uh-huh
Two months later
That Guy: The bike will be ready around summer time
Me: Pictures?
That Guy: Oh yeah I will bring them
Me: Uh-huh
That Guy: Didn't you get a bike?
Me: Yeah
That Guy: What did you end up buying?
Me: I bought a new 2007 Honda VFR
That Guy: why did you get that? You need a gixxer or something really slick
Me: Been riding street for 6 months I don't need a fast fast bike. Maybe when I get more experience down the road but the VFR is a good bike.
That Guy: Man you need something fast. Breeze in & out of traffic and get that front wheel off the ground.
Me: Hey
That Guy: Yeah?
Me: You need to shut yer pie hole

See that I have to hear and when I do I start to get sleepy...
