If they don't require you to keep a minimum or a type of activity, I say keep them... You never know when you might need them. It's always good to keep a long relationship with a bank. No matter what the size of your account (of course a bigger one makes more of a difference, but thats a given).

Oh and you just made a classic mistake in the name Amegy not Amergy... Everyone does it though

It would make sense since it's a made up word bonding "America" and "Energy".

Just get a personal loan and then buy a 07 for nearly 1/2 the price of an 09. Not sure why you would rather pay full coverage for something that will depreciate quickly when you could buy an 07 and get the minimum coverage. Big difference for your age.

BTW, if you need a co-signer you can't afford it.

just to give you an example:

We put my bike in my fiance's name, because she has great credit, and I don't. Bill of sale was 9k, put 1500 down, and payments are 202 a month. I have FC with progressive for 120 a month.

I was 25 when I bought my bike. I had no history not the greatest credit score but capital one gave me 7.5% on a five year loan but it had to be a new bike. That was the easy part. I got quoted 2600 a year for insurance on an R6! The triumph was cheaper but not by much. You can fill out a loan request online with capital one. If you like their offer you can get a blank check tomorrow for 25 dollars. My payments were 155 a month 0 down.
