As you read it used to just die on him, and he was new(er) to bikes. So coulda been guys who think they know everything telling him the wrong everything lol or he coulda assumed but if it would restart with no issues after just shutting off one would think electrical.

Well he said it just died on him and everything shut off on him. I am not sure who told him what was wrong with it. I just went off of what he told me. As for getting it going I just changed oil and the plugs. Then after some time cleaning out the tank and the fuel system I got it to fire right up. Been riding it as a daily when it is nice outside. It does have some sort of electrical problem but mostly on the nuetral switch not seeing the bike being in neutral and sometimes the gauges turn off on me. But it runs just fine when the gauges turn off. I will look at it later when I take the front off of it to look at the wiring. But I will look at it when it starts to give me problems.

Well guys the bike has been great riding on the streets. I been having a problem with it having a slight stall when I try and pop the clutch and it hits 5k -5500 rpms. It lets me try and bring it up sometimes and other times it doesn't want to come up. I am kicking the idea of trying to trade it off and look for a lot bike, unless I am can get it fixed. With this cool weather I want to hit the lots but with it acting the way it does I can't go out there. If anyone might have any kind of ideas what to look at. Tank has been cleaned out, fuel lines and injectors cleaned, plugs cleaned but still no luck on why it lags then kicks up. I can't even get it to hit the limiter when it finally picks back up after 5500 rpms.

my fuel filter on the ol TLR was clogged up BAD!! it would surge in high RPM at WOT and would not bounce off the limiter, only 1000 RPM short of it. u may want to try that. soon as i changed mine i did a first gear WOT test and brought that front wheel up with ease, shat my pants and nut checked my self on the way down.

The filter is built in with the pump. I pulled the pump out out of the can it sits in and cleaned it all out already. It was full of junk causing my bike to die and starve it of fuel. It surges at WOT but when I roll on it kind of slow it will roll up no problem.

I am going to be working on some stuff this weekend. I might try and take a look at the pump again and make sure it is not dirty again.
