I have only been to supercross once in Reliant and it was a few years ago. My wife and I are wanting to go but we would have to take our 7 month old son and she is worried it will be too loud for him. Can anyone comment on the noise levels from the 300 level?

^ Were taking our son, he is 1. I went last year without him and realized that its not really that loud besides the starts, and they only last what 15 seconds? When it was all 2 strokes I would have not taken him, but we are also gonna use some ear muffs or something similar. Its definetly a tough call at 7 months, I feel like at a year now my sons a little safer. Sittin high up would definetly help and I think with some ear protection they'll be alright, I know they sell the tire ear protectors at Monster Jam, but not sure if they will at supercross?

I went twice to Motocross in 2003 and 2004 where Charmicheal (sp) was the man to beat. I had a great time...I *might* go back this year but , I do remember the seats were hard and the air was cold! Bring a throw for your body and a pillow for your buttocks. Maybe 2 for bony buttocks.

call your pediatricians office and ask what ear plugs will be best for his ears or find a set of ear muffs. The noise levels are not what they used to be since all bikes have to meet a certain db level for sx races (i believe). Get him started on proper ppe (personal protective equipment) at an early age and you'll never have to fight him about it later down the road.

1 more day! Anyone else going to the pit party, or Honda of Houston to meet the riders?

We take a white onesie from the boys closet and have it signed by all the riders, then frame it and put it in his room with the others

I'll be there early enough to stroll through the pits and check out a little bit of practice. . .and binge drink in the parking lot.
