Stoner? Didn't he win a MotoGP championship? I mean there are just SO MANY champs that it doesn't count for much these days, right?

Point is, the bike is NOT geared for 200mph stock so you can race spec ECU all you want....NOT going 200mph...

My bike is fully stock! I have seen many gps verified runs on stock s1000rr at 193 mph! To break the 200 mph limit wouldnt be too hard at all!

To be honest.... i am more into turns than just going fast on a straight road, put a monkey on any bike and he will reach top speed in no time

Ya right.....that's what all the slow people say...

How many times have you taken your S1000 to a track-day since you bought it?

yeah i am a pretty slow rider, i respect the law and the posted speed limit all the times..... you should bring out your modded busa to our SMR and see how fast you can go around the slow riders of our group on some turns

i have about 1400 miles on the bike as of today, all back road riding, havent done a single track day due to time issues but will try to do a few track days this year for sure.

i believe the power:weight ratio is pretty close but with the car you have twice the amount of rubber to put the power down and handle the corners, as well as additional downforce of the spoilers. the atom would win. with equally capable operators. however, it would be easier for a novice driver to pilot the car to a better time than a novice rider. i think the learning curve on the car isn't as steep as a bike

oh i forgot, turn 9 at misano - variante arena, is a chicane, the car will freakishly kill the bike in there with flossi or dingo riding it, you do know that cars can clip some curbs and keep at it right?.

Ok, i think i made my point

You said a monkey can go fast on a straight road so I figured you had that covered...

Funny how it's so easy but you won't come out and do it. So does that mean I can tell you to off on a trackday (which I'm sure you mean MSR)... Besides my BUSA isn't setup for that, why...do I need to bring a S1000RR out and crack your lap times to be an internet hero...

like i said i have no actual interest in drag racing at all so i dont see your point to go to texas mile lol

If i had any time to go to a track rest assured it wont be for drag racing i love sport bikes because of the way it handles through the turns, it requires a lot more skills than just slipping the clutch on first gear at the drag strip.... Drag racing and Nascar are the only two sports on wheels that i never cared much about for obvious reasons.

If your busa is not set up for street riding then it means that most of your riding has been mostly going straight? You should join our SMRs and see for yourself how much fun it is to lean the bike into a turn and use more than just the center of your tires
