If the plastics aren't that bad you can repair and repaint them.

the right side was smashed up way beyond repairable. the left side is ok, but i think i'd rather go naked or maybe find a clean nose fairing. im really not looking forward to having to do something about the huge cluster. i like the functionality of it, but it is so huge and has a lot of wiring to it.
if i were to get a vapor setup, i'm guessing all of that mess could be gone?
i'm also interested in how doable it would be to get rid of all the wiring and guage mess and hard mount my gps to use as my speedo

its alive!
i put the plugs back in with one of my helpers just now and the bike looks like total but it runs! started on the 1st try. it was a comfort to hear the v4 rumbling at me.
next comes parts!

The Vapor would be the easiest/least expensive way to go.

! Sorry to hear about that bro, glad the bike's not trashed though. Fighter sounds cool, I don't think I've ever seen a Viffer in fight mode (at least I didn't recognize it) Look forward to more build pics!

they are pretty ugly naked, so i think most people dont mind paying out the nose to keep their viffer pretty
