Although it has been quite cool out there, I have actually been sweating in just a long sleeve shirt, during the day at least. Now night is a different story.

The dirt is great!

Here is what I can tell you about the course and property. I anticipate the course to be between 14-17 miles. Some fast open sections and some tight slow sections, Lots of Creeks (all Dry), Single Track, Open Runs, NICE new fun fresh cut in sections of the property that have not been run B4. I have found a few rather difficult log crossings for those that thought Middletons was too easy (not sure if I can get them in the course but I will try)Lots of off camber ins and outs and woods, lots of woods. 1 maybe 2 ez/hards might make it in the course.

Also as everyone knows I normally get a pre race video done, but with the sheer amount of work that needs to be done, I am unsure that I will be able to get one produced in time, however if I do manage to do one, it will not be up till Thursday Night b4 the race. I will do my best but no promises. If you wonder what Brunesmill looks like check out the website for a few photos from last year http://texasxtremeffroadracing.phanf...758577_5283236

If you enjoyed Middleton then you will Enjoy Brunesmill X2!

I will try to update this at least once again b4 the race.
8 Days and counting!

you need to look at his website....4 wheel races are different dates than hare scrambles and there are only 5 or 6 events scheduled this season....none which have happened yet. You haven't missed anything yet.

Looking forward to Brunesmill, hopefully the weather will be a bit warmer.

Round 2 in 4 days!!! Starting to get excited about Brunesmill. If anyone needs a ride, let me know. I don't plan on camping overnight (driving back n forth for Saturdays practice & then Sundays race) and can haul the trailer if needed.

can't make it to this race either Dbones! Construction should be done before the next race, and that should free me up a lot.

What you all have been waiting for, the Pre Race Course Video. Yes it is now online. The video is split into 2 parts. I have spent the last 2 weeks cutting new trail and I must say it is a really fun course. Thanks to Darrell, William and Shelli for the help with the trail this weekend! I worked them like dogs and they still came back on Sunday for more! It is Technical in areas, tight yet open, slow and fast. Although the video never does elevation changes justice there are plenty of up/downs with off camber turns for you to enjoy! It has a little of everything! 1 EZ/Hard right b4 the finish. It is about a 4 foot drop into the rocky soft creek with a hard left after landing. Not too bad but defiantly a passing spot, if you don't wash out. Second part of course has not been marked as of video time. The dirt is awesome, no mud, no dust! Enjoy the video!

Lets go Race!

You guys are missing the best weather of the year...just thought you should know.

but anyhow, BIG thanks to Otis and Texas Xtreme Offroad Racing for a great time yet again. The new "event flags" marking the gate were nice and made locating things super easy. Trail was superbly marked and dirt dialed in perfect. A lot more rocky creek beds (and rocks in general) than i'm use to, but it makes me a better rider.

Looking forward to Race #3 in Huntsville (Outlaw Trax).

Great race. I remember thinking that I didn't like the track during practice, but during the race all of that changed. I found a good rhythm and made some good passes. I'm tired today, though.
Good job, Dbuck.

Lee (Lostner) finished 1st in Over 40D, I wrapped up 1st in Open C 1 Hour.

I'm probably gonna move to Open C 2 Hour or Over 30 B 2 Hour midway through the season.

The dirt was awesome by Sunday morning....berms were being formed, rocks weren't as evident and Otis had some really fast sections in between the tight woods stuff. I was running WOT in 3rd gear in some parts and was trying not to myself.
