August 28th LSTD trackday

very hot and exhausting. the small crowd made for more laps, or thats the way it seemed. i only remebered one crash that left the bike looking like an accordion and sent the rider to the hospital.

the last time for me at TWS (Texas World Speedway) was August of 2005 and the fastest time then was 2:15. fastest time today was 2:08 (with light traffic) on street pilot powers so im content.

thanks to Motorcycles Unlimited for the great customer service and for looking out for the MotoHouston members. thanks to LSTD for providing a great atmosphere and trackday

I snapped a few pics of the bike that went down and that was about it. Glad to hear that his injuries weren't too serious. Sorry for the size...

Good time(2:08) bro that is smokin'.

Why is the year winding down so early(LSTD) why not any Nov and Dec dates? I hate summer riding love fall winter spring. I can always put more clothes on under the leathers there I can't take off anymore than my briefs. :icon_bigg

yesterday's trackday was good...I felt more confortable as the day went on and found myself picking up more speed on turn 1, 6, 7, 10 and 12! I ran a couple of good times, best was 2:06 and worst was like 2:17...?

I was having a tough time with 3 and 10 early on I got 3 under control(well i'm comfy with it) but 10 still bothers me. I got 1 under control after the instructors pointed out to stay on the throttle.
