New Muscle bike lover here!

Just found this forum, I'm in Dallas but travel all over TX for 80's muscle bikes, I collect and restore Honda V65's, Yamaha VMAX's, and big Kawasaki Eliminators, ZL900 and ZL1000's. I also dabble in other late 70's, mid 80's big litre cruisers, GPZ900s, GPZ1000, GPZ1100's, FJ1100's, FJ1200's, Honda CBX, CB1100F, any of the 80's Turbo bikes, Suzuki GS1100E's, GS1150E's, I'm sure you get the picture. I just posted some pics of my bikes in the old bikes thread, but if you know of somebody that has one of these bikes for sale, give them my email or phone number and if it's something I'm interested in, I have cash and will travel! Thanks MotoHouston! kz1000ltd@yahoo.com

What is an '89 FJ1200 in pristine condition worth these days?
I have a friend that has one in his living room. It looks like it's brand new, even the exhaust pipes are perfect! Got less than 20k miles.
Any idea? (not that he would ever sell it)

Around $2500 would be my guess.

I saw this commercial in 1983 when I was about 19 years old. Couldn't afford one at that time, but knew someday I would have one, or two, or half a dozen! The V65 Magna is a revolutionary motorcycle, one that set the US market on fire and started the muscle bike wars of the 80's. If it weren't for the V65 Magna, the Yamaha VMAX would have never been born, or the Kawaski 900 Eliminator for that matter. Bikes built for all out, go straight speed, (under 11 seconds in the quarter mile is no slouch, even to this day), and they are fun as to ride! Just a blast from the past, and I love restoring them and putting them back on the road!
